  • Try walking up backwards! It sounds ridiculous but it was the ONLY way I could do stairs during my last pregnancy. My heart breaks for you, SPD is excruciatingly painful and ppl do not understand unless they've had it. I feel anxious even thinking about you living in a house with stairs. Hugs mama, pregnancy may have its perks (the kicks and the baby at the end!) but mostly (for me) it sucks! ❤

  • My step mom would do that with our hair when we were young, but she would do it in a full pony pulled to the back because when it is more hair lower down it looks much different and hide the hair tie.

  • My last pregnancy was hard on my especially since it ended in miscarriage. A month later I found out I was pregnant again but I get spotting and cramping when I work. So it's very difficult on me know my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. Unfortunately my ob wouldn't even give me restrictions right now for my job and I had a threatened miscarriage Sunday but when they checked my beta levels yesterday they told me that everything seems to be fine right now. Hopefully you feel better and my baby turns out to be okay the entire pregnancy.

  • I had bad back pain and morning sickness my entire pregnancy however it wasn’t too bad and my pregnancy physical was pretty okay. I was however young and a single mom, I went through a lot emotionally and mentally. I couldn’t truly enjoy my pregnancy. I was terrified, I had a lot of disappointment in myself for being young, I was 19. Now I’m 28 and I do not regret a single decision. My daughter and I have a blessed life. She’s healthy and happy. Whatever hardships I went through were worth it 🤍

  • First off I love you! Second I am 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby! It’s a girl and her name is going to be Violet Mia Irwin-Osborne. My fiancé and I are so freakin excited. I was so terrified to get pregnant because of all the horror stories I’ve heard and hearing how my mom was sick and in pain all throughout both her pregnancies but, I’ve had such and amazing first pregnancy. I’ve had no complications and she is growing at perfect speed and as much as she should be. The only thing that has been really hard for me this pregnancy would have to me my emotions. I’m so emotional like I’m normally emotional but omg it’s like times 20. Other then that I have had such a blessed pregnancy and I am so sorry you are in so much pain. I know it’s going to be so worth it! You’re gonna have three babies!!! Ahhh that’s so exciting and you’re having twins you have such a story to tell people who in the future have twins you get to tell them your story or even your twins when they get older! Thank you for actually showing us(me) that pregnancy isn’t always all butterflies and rainbows sometimes there are those days that are hard and painful.

  • I had an amazing pregnancy. It was my first. He’s 5 months now. My after pregnancy was very hard. I had a c section (not planned) and it got infected I was in horrible pain it felt like my insides were burning I was screaming. Went to the ER twice to find out it was infected and there was fluid in there had to get cut open AGAIN. And had to stay in the ER away from my newborn for two night the heartbreak I felt. Being away from my son. Then it took a month for it to close by itself. We had to go everyday and wait for hours for the nurses to dress my wound. All that to have my pride and joy in this world it’s definitely worth it but the journey is hard. it breaks my heart what you’re going through I can’t imagine with twins. We’re strong mamas!

I spent 7 months laying in bed because I was bleeding in 6th and 9th week and when I thought it got better I started bleeding again at 18th week. I had placenta previa and I had short cervix so I had to lay and drink a bunch of medicine until 8th month of my pregnency when I was allowed to move again. Now, that I had my baby it feels like I was never in pain, I was never in bed.

  • I used to use a belly support. Never had a shirt on cause i hated anything touching my belly. I definitely think twin pregnancy is harder than single. But my twins were my 4th and 5th babies. So i was older. So who knows. But towards the end the not being able to breathe cause there's literally no room left wasnt fun. Pelvic pain does suck and it will suck for a while. I actually used to stand or lay not sit. My twins are barely 15months and ive already kinda forgotten the bad. So as you've said.. its temporary

  • My first two pregnancies weren’t too bad. Just minor pains compared to this pregnancy. I’m pregnant with my third, and I had 16 weeks of bad morning sickness, then a few weeks of feeling good where I felt like things were getting normal. Then the third trimester hit. My ibs flaired up like something shocking. Had a scare of low fetal movements and found out my belly was measuring too big. Booked in for another ultrasound, found out baby is growing too big. 34w2d pregnant now, and have another growth scan next week and a doctors appointment to find out whether baby is still big. Which I feel baby is as I’ve been in a lot of pain, and I honestly feel like I’m going to be induced again. I just wanted one natural birth.

I had a terrible pregnancy 😮‍💨 it took 7 years and 3 miscarriages before I got pregnant with my daughter which I had horrible sickness and throw up all the time also had to inject blood thinners into my tummy every day through the whole pregnancy and for 6 weeks after 😖 and had the same pelvic pain so I know what you mean about being jealous of easy pregnancy’s but I did it and I now have my beautiful funny daughter and I’m in the process of going through fertility tests to do it all again because I would love another baby. Wish you all the love and luck in this pregnancy 🤰 you can do this!! Xx

  • Whoooo boy. My pregnancy with my son was awful start to finish. I had HG my entire pregnancy, from before 5 weeks all the way to on the table during the emergency cesarean. It was so bad I tore my esophagus three times and puked up blood as a result on a near constant basis. I was so exhausted I could barely get out of bed. The sciatica was down my entire right leg and lower back, and throughout my posterior. The heartburn was causing me to lose my voice due to the acid. I developed preeclampsia at 35 weeks, had a seizure after a series of failed attempts at inducing me, which lead to an emergency c section where I was strapped to the table. It was severely traumatic and I was mistreated heavily by the anesthesiologist. But you’re right. It goes away. It’s temporary. And then you have these beautiful human beings you get to raise and love for the rest of your lives. 🖤

I was in college at the time, so imagine having to walk a HUGE campus, in pain! Then I started getting contractions @33 weeks. They lasted for 3 WEEKS til I had my son. THREE WEEKS! And they were not Braxton Hicks contractions, they were legit contractions but very inconsistent. Thank goodness labor was easy, 6.5 hours, epidural, no tearing.

I remember feeling like I was getting a lot of happy hormones. I was very giggly and just feeling good. 3rd tri was a little more rough, just from baby running out of room. I quit working a month prior to giving birth so spent that time nesting and soaking up the rest of my "alone" time. My daughter was born 2 minutes into her due date. She cried for 4 seconds then was happy as a clam. She's 5 now and my very best friend.

  • I know the last thing you probably want right now is people "diagnosing," but has anyone ever mentioned endometriosis? There is such a huge misconception that the only symptoms are inability to conceive and heavy/extremely painful periods. My best friend, who is 21, has completely different symptoms that the stereotype, but she has a similar constant chronic pelvic floor pain that is part of her endo. She just had surgery to get some of it removed after over two years of constant doctors appointments, treatments, etc. I am not a doctor, so I could be totally wrong, but 1 in 10 women have endo, and most of us don't know it. I am so sorry that you experience so much pain... I pray it gets better and you get some relief!
